Case studies
The best way to explain what we do is to describe some of our recent projects.
Workshops for Disability Services
Disability Services wanted to prepare those of their staff who might need to take on different roles in a variety of organisations - facing real world issues and challenges in different contexts. We delivered four in-house workshops based on our Project Management Fundamentals program as part of an up-skilling program.
Group discussions were very positive and helped participants find a way forward. Many of the participants were pleasantly surprised by how seamlessly their current knowledge and skills could be transferred to a project envionment, and by the ways in which some of their new project skills could be used in their current roles.
Project sponsorship forums for Aurora Energy
We worked with with an in-house group to find ways to improve the sponsorship of projects across Senior Management. This involved designing and running a survey to identify issues, designing a half-day workshop and delivering the workshop on five occasions.
Project management training and assistance for PSMA
A two-day Project Management Essentials workshop in May 08, followed by a one-day refresher in April 09. We provided general project management assistance in the 'trusted advisor' space - no formal review/reporting, just proactive assistance for the organisation.
Project Management Fundamentals at Caltex Australia Petroleum Pty Ltd
A challenging assignment over several years that involved integrated group training to build basic project skills followed by one-on-one coaching to embed learning on the job and answer project queries as they were encountered. We developed business-specific templates, provided just-in-time project coaching (via remote access) and skills development across different functions and regions.
